MD HURRICANES

Minor Development 'MD' is a competitive level of hockey offered by Alliance Hockey. With a strong emphasis on team and skills development, MD hockey offers players the opportunity to play competitive hockey while developing their skills all at an affordable price. 2005-06, there were 218 MD teams in the Alliance, ranging from the Pre-Novice to Midget age groups.

Our MD Program includes a strong emphasis on skills development with power skating with Nancy Gruhl, goaltending clinics by Al Stoddard and optional body contact clinics with Ray McKay in addition to team practices. Each team is on the ice for over 70 hours each season.
