St. Catharines Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Minor Hockey has been providing House League Hockey Programs within the City of St. Catharines for over 70 years.

The Parish Associations within St. Catharines CYO Hockey League provide the foundation for much of what is our House League Program.

For many years, CYO Hockey has had programs supporting House League Hockey from the ages of 5-15 (Tyke to Bantam) with each Parish supporting a team or teams within the respective divisions.
In the mid 1990's, St. Catharines CYO Hockey League introduced Midget House League Hockey back to the City of St. Catharines.

Also in the mid 1990's, CYO Hockey introduced a hockey program exclusively for girls. This was the first girls program established in the Niagara Region at that time. CYO does not offer a girls program as of September 2009. Girls interested in girls hockey are asked to contact the:
St. Catharines Female Hockey Association.

In 1999, CYO Hockey introduced Juvenile House League Hockey as a successfully continuation of the establishment of Midget Hockey.

With the addition of the Alumni Division for the 2006-07 season, CYO Hockey is now offering House League Hockey for ages 4-40.

The complete House League offering within CYO Hockey is as follows:

• Tyke (5 - 6 year old) Co-ed Division
• Novice (7 - 8 year old) Co-ed Division
• Atom (9 10 year old) Co-ed Division
• Peewee (11 - 12 year old) Co-ed Division
• Bantam (13 - 14 year old) Co-ed Division
• Midget (15 - 17 year old) Co-ed Division
• Juvenile (18 - 20 year old) Co-ed Division
• Alumni (21 - 40 year old) Co-ed Division
