League Registration Information-Updated

When does it begin?

CYO registration will begin June 12th. The application form will be available at that time. Registration will close August 30th.
CYO will only accept registration forms after that date to fill up team in all divisions; others will be put on a waiting list. Any registration forms accepted
on or after August 31st MUST include full payment.

How do we get registered?

You have three ways to get your form registered:

1. You can mail in your completed registration form with full payment.

2. Bring your registration form to the CYO Office during office hours with full payment.

3. Fax your registration form to the CYO Office during office hours with full payment using our VISA / MC payment form.

How can I pay?

CYO will accept payment from June 12th to August 30th. Installment cheques and VISA/MC payments (your choice on dates) will be allowed between June 12th and August 30th.

Paying by VISA or MASTERCARD through the mail is easy. Complete the VISA/MC form that will be attached to your registration form with your card information and mail it in. The credit card information will be shredded after your payment is processed. Register early to use this payment option. You can submit any type of payment from June 12th to August 30th.

Mite Program (Hockey School)

The CYO Mite Tim Hortons Program - Hockey School program is based on 11 years of experience at this level. CYO Mite Program is intended to be a flexible program designed to give the young participant the best possible start to an enjoyable playing experience. We recommend the CYO Mite Program - Hockey school for players who are 4 or 5 as of January 1 or those that need more time or encouragement when skating. Sessions consist of 50 minute of on-ice instruction. The program is currently scheduled for Saturday mornings at the Jack Gatecliff Complex. The season begins in October and wraps up at the end of March. Participant is required to where full hockey equipment. An early October Parent meeting will be held. Participant receives a hockey jersey, socks, photograph and an award.

Juvenile Program

St Catharines CYO Minor Hockey League hosts a Juvenile Division for players aged from 18-20. In previous seasons,the Juvenile Division consisted of 6 teams playing Sunday evenings at the Jack Gatecliff Arena. This is a non-contact division. Play starts in October and runs to late March. Registration begins in early June and runs until the program begins in October.

Minor Development (MD) Program

Minor Development 'MD' is a competitive level of hockey offered by Alliance Hockey. With a strong emphasis on team and skills development, MD hockey offers players the opportunity to play competitive hockey while developing their skills all at an affordable price. Tryouts began in late April.

Heat Program

The St. Catharines CYO Heat is a hockey program which supports those with Special Needs to learn and enjoy the game of hockey in its proper form. Now in its 11th year, the CYO Heat was established by Joe Fegan and Rick Jones, in conjunction with the St. Catharines CYO Hockey, to ensure all those within the Niagara Region with Special Needs, be it physical or developmental, have an opportunity to participate, play and enjoy our country's favorite past time. Players and participants of all ages are welcome - a desire to learn and play the game of hockey and enjoy the experience is all that is required. Registration begins June 12th The program begins in October.

Tyke to Midget

$465.00 from June 17th to Aug 30th.

$490.00 after Aug 30th.

Juvenile and Alumni

$360.00 plus $50 refundable bond until teams are full.

Mite and Heat Programs

$250.00 until Programs are full.
